Introduction:
To nurture entrepreneurial thinking among students, the Institution’s Innovation Council organized a Business Plan Competition during April–May 2026. The competition was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, students submitted the synopsis of their business plans, outlining the problem they intended to solve, the uniqueness of their solution, market potential, and implementation strategy. The shortlisted teams then advanced to the final round held on 27th May 2026, 2:00 PM in the TPO Conference Room where they presented and demonstrated their business models before an expert jury.

Objective of the event: The objective of the event was to celebrate National Technology Day by creating awareness among undergraduate engineering students about emerging and innovative technologies. The activity aimed to encourage students to explore recent technological advancements and present their ideas effectively through PowerPoint presentations. It also intended to enhance students’ technical knowledge, communication skills, creativity, and confidence while promoting a culture of innovation and learning under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).

Objective of the event: The primary objective of organizing special coding classes for 3rd year students was to strengthen their programming skills and technical competencies required for developing innovative solutions. The initiative aimed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking, enhance problem-solving abilities, and equip students with the technical foundation necessary to initiate and sustain their own start-up ventures.

Description:Kishan Kumar is a former student of ECE department started his IT professional with expertise in Oracle technologies and enterprise systems. Beginning his career at Infosys and later serving as an Oracle Technical Consultant at TCS, he has demonstrated strong technical proficiency, leadership, and mentoring abilities. Alongside his corporate career, he has successfully cleared multiple public sector banking examinations and transitioned into banking as a Specialist Officer (IT) with Bank of Baroda. He is recognized for his perseverance, problem-solving skills, and commitment to excellence.

Description: Er. Partha Koley, a renowned trainer from Euphoria GenX, Kolkata has conducted a session on "Hands on Experience in Cutting-edge Technologies" for our current Second and Third Year students on 20th Dec. 2025 from 10-45 am to 12-20 pm. He deliberated upon ever evolving Technology changes in the IT market. He mentored the students about the current technologies e.g. Cloud Computing, Sales force, Full Stack Development, which are presently in trends and are required to begin a startup company of their own.

Object of the event: To raise awareness among students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders about the key reforms introduced by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in the Indian education system, including its emphasis on holistic, multidisciplinary, and flexible learning approaches.
